BREDBURY HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

“I LOVE THE IDEA OF YOU BEING OUR PHOTOGRAPHER”

I’ve known Danielle since we were in school, we were both in the same year and took a few of the same subjects when it came to our exams. When I received a message in my inbox from Danielle enquiring about wedding photography, I was so pleased for her an Colin to be getting married and it sounded like Danielle was equally as pleased that I had availability “I would love to be able to say a school friend took the pictures”

We exchanged messages over the next few weeks and discussed the type of photos they’d like on their big day. 15 months sounds like a long time, but those 15 months flew by and before we knew it, their big day had arrived.

THE CEREMONY – ST GEORGE’S CHURCH

It was a glorious sunny morning on the day of their wedding, I arrived at the church as Danielle had opted out of bridal prep and waited for the arrival of the guests. Whilst waiting I took the opportunity to take some shots of the church and oh my, what a beautiful church it is!

Once Danielle had arrived in her beautiful vintage Imperial Landaulet from High Style Cars, I took some shots of her exiting the car and getting ready to enter the church. It was then time for her and her father to make their way down the aisle, which I think was quite an emotional moment for Danielle.

the service

It was a beautiful service with close friends and family celebrating the joining of two people in love. It’s not very often you get to shoot in such a beautifully lit church either, I was in awe at just how pretty St George’s church is inside.

Once the service had finished, we headed outside to take some shots of the confetti throw and of Danielle and Colin in their lovely wedding car before heading over to Bredbury Hall.

I always love going to St Peter’s Church, the atmosphere here is always really friendly and inviting. The church was looking great inside and as t

Danielle and Colin had chosen Bredbury Hall in Stockport to hold their reception with the lovely 7 acre landscaped gardens as their surroundings. As soon as I entered the reception room, the stunning cake from The Frostery immediately caught my eye and to top it off, Danielle had the honor of cutting it with one of her fathers samurai swords!

Before the wedding breakfast was served, we headed outside to grab the group shots and it was lucky we did as it just started to spit with rain as we finished up. It didn’t stop Danielle & Colin from looking fabulous though!

couple shots

Once the wedding breakfast had finished and the speeches had entertained all of the guests, I took Danielle & Colin out for their couple shots as the rain had passed over. Having recently had foot surgery, Danielle couldn’t walk too far so we settled with lovely landscaped garden Bredbury Hall had to offer. Just as we arrived outside, the sun burst through the trees behind them, giving a beautiful golden glow behind them. We couldn’t have timed it more perfectly!

FIRST DANCE

They had a nice first dance, with Danielle opting for a father and daughter dance too, which really illustrated the bond she has with her father. It was such a nice end to an already beautiful day!

Congratulations once again Danielle & Colin!
