Heaton House Farm

Ok… Technically this isn’t a rustic wedding in Derbyshire, it’s in Cheshire! However I thought it was worth a shout as it’s on the doorstep of the Peak District National Park. Heaton House Farm was first built in 1824 above Rushton Spencer and was passed on through generations. Now a wedding venue, you can choose from 4 spectacular places to tie the knot.

Under The Stars – The largest of all four areas to get married, holding up to 350 guests. You will say your vows under the most beautiful twinkling stars with a dramatic backdrop to compliment.

The Oak Pagoda – If you’d prefer to take your rustic wedding outside, then this is the place to be! Gorgeous oak beams create a charming feel with fantastic views surrounding you. This area cal seat up to 150 guests on the patio with the option to extend onto the lawn for bigger parties. They also offer an indoor option if the weather isn’t on your side.

Oak Beamed Barn – For the ultimate rustic wedding, with beautiful countryside views and a cosy feel, choose the barn. You’ll tie the knot under the green oak beams and sandstone walls with the space for up to 120 guests.

Under The Pleats – If you’d prefer something a little more elegant, then this is the option for you. Stunning ivy decor and drapes set the scene for a romantic ceremony in front of up to 100 guests.

The Ashes

Once again, this one doesn’t strictly fall into Derbyshire. However, it’s on the doorstep of the Peak District and it’s pretty damn stunning!

The West Barn at The Ashes is a 17th century grade II listed barn and it’s where you’ll tie the knot. It has charm, character and that beautiful rustic feel. The west barn itself can accommodate up to 150 people so is plenty big enough for your special day. Your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations will then be held in The East Barn, which boasts a huge seating area, dance floor, ‘seriously cool’ bar and an awesome balcony towering above the dance floor.
